Mosaic Murals
Arctic Mermaid Mosaics has had not only the pleasure, but the privilege of helping the students of Houston High and Teeland Middle school here in Alaska, with their visions of art made thru Mosaic. The murals were just finished as the school year ended so the installations of lighting, framing and placement are not completed. I could not wait to put this beautiful art on, I am so very proud of all the kids!! I am also greatly inspired by my Customers here in Alaska and in the States by their awesome murals made for interior and exterior Installations. Making their homes and neighborhoods a beautiful place!

"Living With Fire In Alaska"- Created by Houston High School Art Students May 2007. The Contemporary Crafts Class of Teacher Roxann Dayton dedicated this mural to all of families, businesses, affected by the Miller's Reach Fire, the people who put their lives on the line to help others, and the people who made this mural possible. Mosaic Glass tile shower wall Mural made with the Prism Factor, Aura Metallic, and Kaleidoscope Glass Mosaic Tile. Beautifully done, size is 4.5'x 5'. Artist: Jan Morehouse of Copper Center, Alaska. Jan used the Direct Mesh method to create her large mural for the back wall in shower. Arctic Mermaid Mosaics, 2008.
